THE FALSE DICHOTOMY OF NATURE NURTURE
In this series I want to make clear that the dichotomy nature versus nurture is no longer relevant. These factors both have a share in the characteristics of an individual.
I show this by not only portraying nature and nurture, but also the result of both factors; the personality of a person. From studies about nature nurture I worked with the themes love,environment and culture which are illustrated in triptychs. These themes are also relevant in my own life. So you can see these triptychs as nuanced self-portraits too.
